Issue with automation firing when not wanted

Hi all,
Firstly I have betfair betangel
I have two automated files that im trying to perfect.
1st one is placing a back bet before the off and then laying 25% of the bet in 4 segments. It works fine but if the 1st bet doesnt meet the criteria and isnt placed, the other bets still fire (If they meet the criteria). I want it to not do anything if the 1st bet isnt fired ?

2nd one places a lay bet and checks every 45 sec if the odds have moved in my direction for the duration of the match. it places another lay bet at half time and 3 more bets in the 2nd half. My problem is that if the bet completes and a team scores then it greens out, as expected. If a team equalises in the 2nd half bringing the odds into my original range then it places more bets when i dont want it to ? Basically when it greens out i need it to stop ?
