Automating With Restricted Amount Of Lays / Ticks

Hi,

Is it possible to set an automation that only allows a set number of lays on a certain horse in a race? For example, if a certain horse does get backed but others do upto say 10 offers. Sometimes, when using the 'automation' option I find that some horse sit there with lots of bets to lay when others get taken straight away. Thus affecting the betting bank balance available. Is this to do with not setting 'ticks'?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not quite sure what it is you mean, could you perhaps give an example of what you want to do so someone can advise further?
