I suspect this is down to me not realising how a small winning bet is handled.
Got bored and started playing a version of all-in laying on the football.Taking teams matches from all over europe and laying unlikely scores at fairly meaty odds.Small stakes (£5). I was just seeing how many matches I could churn through with a small bank in one afternoon. As soon as I was up 70%+ against stake I put in the back bet and moved onto other matches.
Problem arose with outright win. eg lay 0-3 and home team score. Green-up shows back bet of approx 1% of stake so I just hit the button and moved on.However after about 8 matches I realised that my balance was nowhere near where it should be.On inspection I found that £2 back bets had been taken. Is this how betangel works/displays for lower staking?
No damage done,I was still up.Just looking for clarification.

I assume they were matched at odds of 1000 for £2?

Spot on.
Have since looked on internet and discovered that to adjust small stakes, initial £2 minimum stake is set. Expect that this is what betangel is doing. Not really my thing,so doesn't really matter. It's just that the green-up is confusing in this case.

Just don't bother greening up in those circumstances

Your bet is already a winner, you don't need to gift wrap a present to people sat with odds of 1000

Live and learn.
The only reason it happened, was that I was churning a separate small bank while testing something I was working on.
Thanks for the confirmation.
