Good morning,

I've recently started to take a keen interest in automation and was wondering would anyone be kind enough to point me in the right direction.? I'm happy enough with one of the shared files from Dallas I was just hoping you could recommend a few that would be a good stepping stone into the automation journey. My main interest lies within pre and inplay horseracing. Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

There is no short cut to this. Download the files from the Automation section here on the forum and test them in practice mode. Study the results, NONE of them will make you money over time on their own, they ARE the stepping stones to understanding how the automation works. You would do well to download and read the User Guide as well.

I'd suggest, note the price of the favourite, if it's a non-hcap or hcap, and watch how the odds move in relation to the 2nd/3rd favourites.

You might find something others have missed, or see a pattern that repeats itself.

Also, note how many favourites are winning/losing and their prices as the races go by. It should help familiarise you with the markets.
