Hi everyone, would be very grateful for some help on this.

If I place a lay into the market with an offset bet with greening and trailing stop loss am I right in thinking that whether the stop loss is triggered is determined by the selection's current back price?

If so, is there any way to make the stop loss triggered by the last traded price instead of the current back price?

It's just that when betting on horses in-running you could have a situation like this:

Lay bet placed and matched at 6.0
Offset back bet placed at 10.0 (unmatched)
Stop Loss to be triggered at 4.0

Whilst waiting for either the offset back to be matched or the stop loss to trigger, you could have a situation where the last traded price might be 8.0, but due to lack of liquidity, the current best available back price might have dropped to 4.0.

In this situation the stop loss would be triggered even though in essence the market has moved in my favour. The last traded price is obviously a better indication of the true state of the market than the best available back price so if the stop loss was triggered by the last traded price it would be a far more satisfactory situation.

Thats correct, it triggers using the best exit price and that is all it can use, having it trigger off the LTP or reverse price means there is less chance of it being matched especially on in-play markets

If you wanted it to trigger using the LTP or reverse price you'd need to create a servant to mimic it, there are some examples already made that will get you started in the shared files section like this one
viewtopic.php?f=58&t=17894

You'll need to add in the offset part but apart from that its just a case of changing the stop loss trigger from the best exit price to the LTP or whatever you want to use

Great, thank you, I'll have a look at those.
