not sure if this is the right place to post this but I would like to know if Betfair can see that I am using Bet Angel from abroad?
My Betfair account is in AUD but I will be back to the UK soon and I will not change currency. Will Betfair restrict/close my account if they realise I am using Bet Angel linked to my australian account which I am using from abroad?
Is a VPN necessary to use Bet Angel from abroad?

Bet Angel and IP address
Betfair won't object to you using an Aus account in the UK as I know many people doing it. Quite a few use a VPS to connect via a UK IP so there isn't really much difference between doing that and being psychically present in the UK.
I don't know if it would flag up as a security issue at all, so best to make sure your account is all up to date and has TFA enabled etc with back up codes. That would mean is very secure and would bypass other checks.

Hi,
I`m having some occasional network issues on laptop from which I launch Betangel, therefor I want to try launching it from other laptop for testing, to see if network connection issue is linked with laptop. However, on current laptop I can access Betfair without any VPNs (although I`m in Latvia, in which BF is not licensed), but on alternative laptop - only via VPN.
Question - if I would launch Betangel from other laptop (with VPN, so different IP), would Betfair would have reason to block me? Asked BF Support, and as I understood, all should be fine unless I login in Betfair site from different IP.
