Hi Guys
Wondering if anyone else has this problem/ glitch. Not sure if it me or a software bug.
I lay a horse before off for say £80, in play, I put in two closing back bets at £40 (or one at £80, makes no difference). When the closing back bets get matched, the amount switches to what appears to be a back bet, e.g. the amount green on the left column goes up as the price comes in. What I believe should happen, is you should be left with a slightly higher amount going up to refelt the small amount ungreened.
This doesn't happen if you click to take the whole lot out by clicking on the left hand profit/ loss column.
I have recorded this if anyone wants a video.
Hoping someone can tell my why this happens.
TIA
Ian
Lay bets turning to back bets on exit
If you are backing with the same amount as you lay with (or vice versa) all your profit (or loss) will be on that runner, ie, you'll have only closed the trade and not greened up
Sounds like all your lay isn't being matched so your are then over backing in-play
If you post a screenshot of your ladder or one-click screen and your matched bets after your in-play bets are matched and a copy of the Bet Angel log from that market I or someone else will explain exactly whats happening or what you are seeing

Hi Dallas
I have attached two screenshots. Pic 1 is the lay bet matched and my two £40 closing back bets shown.
Pic 2 is with both £40 closing back bets matched. You can see that there is no outstanding bets, so it isn't a mistake extra back bet in and you can see the P&L column now shows as if you have put a back bet in, instead of the lay column showing a small rising amount for the small amount left unmatched.
Hope that makes sense.

In your second (top) image you've 'closed the trade' so now have no liability and all your profit is on that runner essential its what's known as a free bet
So what you are seeing is exactly right for the bets you've had matched
Here's an example of the difference between closing a trade and greening up
