Many years ago I was working at a local company. I had been their main supplier for many years when they started out in a portacabin with just 3 staff. They were in a big new building and I was installing equipment in their reception area. The phone rang and the receptionist answered. I heard her thank the caller and offered to put them through to the staff member. He couldn't be reached and it was obviously urgent because she switched on the Tannoy and said....
"Urgent call for Mike Hunt"
That was okay I guess until Mike failed to answer. She told the caller and then went back on the tannoy to say
"Urgent call for Mike Hunt if anyone has seen Mike Hunt could they please let me know - caller waiting!"
Myself and my colleague were falling about and she suddenly realised what she had said. To be fair she joined in the laughter and then about 20 members of staff arrived in reception!
That was about 15 years ago but it is something I will never forget....especially when Bart gets Moe going on the Simpsons!

I once worked for a director in a large company. He was a great orator and loved to start a presention with something funny. So one day he tasked his secretary with the role of going through the email lists and finding funny names of people who worked in the company. She spent a few hours hunting down funny names and then sent them to the director. Unfortunately, as she found them she temporarily stored them in the CC field. When she sent the email she also, accidently, sent it to the people on that list.
So, all over the world, people like George Bumgardner, Massihiro Wakifuki, Christina Wank etc. all got an email from her saying, "My god, look at this lot!"
