Lay Bets - By liability as a percentage of balance

If I "Place Lay Bet", I have the Parameter option 'By liability as a percentage of balance'

However, if I "Place Lay SP Bet", I don't have that same option

Am I missing something here?

I've never used that feature but I understand all SP lay bets are by liability, as you won't know the price, so it should be the same thing?

Derek is correct, Betfair always adjust the stake to maintain the liability you chose when placing the bet

So if your balance was £100 and you selected 5% in that option, it would place a £5 liability SP bet
