Is anyone else noticing the ladders freezing up for a few seconds at a time?
Notably the BF data request counter drops to 0.
Happened a few times now. Is it just me?

I've seen the ladder freeze several times especially when there's sudden torrent of money coming in for a particular horse. Though I must say my storage capacity is nearing its limit so not sure whether that's what causing it. But if somebody is able to confirm whether its PC or sudden surge in liquidity that's causing would be great.
If you hold markets in Guardian this could possibly cause the problem you describe.
The Guardian markets will be getting updated in the background, you can see this if you hold the currently traded market in both BA and Guardian then uncheck the Auto Refresh on your main BA screen. The race will still be getting updated in the main BA screen depending on the refresh setting and number of markets in Guardian.
All other markets in Guardian will also be getting refreshed and if your PC is struggling anyhow could be the cause of the problem you describe. The cure would be to try not using Guardian at all or at least slowing down or pausing the Guardian refresh rate while you are trading.
The problem would be amplified if you are using linked excel sheets.

The latest beta version of Bet Angel (1.26.0 beta) has a 'Connection Smoothing' process ( enabled using the communications page of settings editor ), that should help in situations like this.
