Problems with refresh rate

Hey,

So I seem to be having problems with the refresh rate. I have it set to 20 ms on both the one-click screen and guardian but I feel like it's been running slowly. I've had Bet Angel on this PC before and it ran fine but I've been watching the last update during a game on guardian and it's refreshing every 17 seconds or so. Any one know what might be causing this? The Green-Up value also seemed to be getting stuck on games I had on earlier too. Like it would go to -£0.14 on some and stay on that even though the game had played out and finished or vice versa it would be in profit on say £2.86 and then stay on that even after the game was over. Everything else seems to be working fine on PC. No internet issues or software running slow etc.

How many markets have you got loaded into Guardian?

Each Guardian market should refresh at intervals of approximately 20ms x the number of markets loaded but the one-click screen should refresh at the time you set for it.

542 markets at the moment so that works out to around 10.84 seconds. Just checked one-click for a different event and seems to be refreshing fine so was probably the event I was looking at. Is there no way to speed up guardian with so many markets on? Because some of my strategies rely on placing bets within seconds but are being skipped on some events if the bet falls within the 17 second range. I have strategies that rely on matched volume or volume percent of selections which can change quite quickly.

Yes restrict the refresh rate, click on Advanced Setting on the Guardian page, and top left (under markets) you will see a box make sure it is ticked and then you can set it to start on a market say 1200 (20 mins) before the off and then have it stop looking at those market 600 (10 mins) after the start time.

That way if say 15 markets fall within the range set and the refresh rate is set at 20ms it will cycle thru in less than 1s. Just be careful if using on football matches as they go approximately 2hrs after kick off so automation will be affected

I've had the same issue but I put it down to my internet connection as I'm in the Philippines. I got around it like andy has said, restrict the refresh rate on the markets.
