Hi
I notice BetAngel is available for Betdaq as well as Betfair. I've been using the Betfair trial version but before I buy I was wondering whether there were advantages/disadvantages to using one exchange over the other?
Thank you

There isn't a "pro" version of BA for Betdaq which might affect what you plan to do. There's also more money and activity on Betfair so that's where most people go. For some things, for some people, Betdaq has its uses but if you're just starting then Betfair is the only real choice.
One thing I notice in last year is Betdaq when using their dreadful own site to place bets is it does not seem to give you the best available price, it gives you what you ask for even if there is a tick or 2 better available, this is my experience anyways.
Another thing I've noticed is that you can't see your bets waiting. If you put in a better offer than the current one your bet should be matched immediately or go to the front of the queue. Instead your bet is unmatched while a worse offer remains at the front of the queue which defies the point of an exchange.
Smarkets do not have a public API and, sort of, don't want Bet Angel customers. Matchbook have approached us but there isn't any evidence anybody would pay to use a Matchbook version and there is no funding for us to create one.
Both suffer from the fact both are heavily active in their own markets, so they are not real exchanges and you will likely run into problems if you are consistently profitable on them.
