Hi All
Searched through the libraries cant seem to find this, but I am sure I have seen it somewhere.
So LTD at HT, only if a clear fav.
When a goal is scored how can I tell if its the fav that has scored ?
Any help would be great
Thanks
Soccer LTD
You can just use the regular LTD file and edit the time its armed for
viewtopic.php?f=50&t=11309
The only other thing to add is a 'Fixed Odds Condition' to test the fav price is less than 'X' (whatever you consider to be the odds of a clear fav to be)

Dallas, thanks for the reply.
I am fine with setting up LTD.
What I am trying to do is ascertain which team scored the goal, if its fav then cash out, if its dog then a recovery strategy.
I use your 0-0 "odds" to see the goal from CS.
can it be used to identify whether its home line or away that scored ?

In your first message you mentioned LTD at HT and if there was a strong fav
but in your second you seem to be suggesting LTD at the start and trading out at HT or if there is a goal

Sorry for any confusion
The LTD will be at HT, providing there is still a fav, less than 2.
If a goal is scored I want to do 1 of 2 things.
If its the fav who scored then C/O.
If its the dog, then carry out a recovery strat, of which I have yet to build.
So the question is, can you determine whether its dog or fav on goal ?

Compare odds at start for fav with odds at half time, if significantly less then CO?

Thanks for replies.
just to point out I am laying the Draw at Half Time, providing one of the teams is less than 2 (fav)
If during the Second half a goal is scored how can i determine whether its the fav or the dog thats scored ?

Why not just back overs maybe scale your stake into the game starting at half time then add to it at 55 min's for example but use your match odds criteria for entry at HT then it makes absolutely no difference who scores rather than trying to save lay the draw trades with insurance?
I can't see any value in recovery/insurance trades tbh
Why recover losses if strategy is profitable? Have to really think this concept through.

I am aware of all the options when its gone wrong, well most of them anyway, however,
I read something awhile ago concerning LTD.
It suggested if the dog scores first, back the draw with 50% of lay stake and lay the team that just scored ( dog) with 75% of lay stake.
i just wanted to test this out.
I start the LTD from HT, how can i detirmine if its the dog or the fav that scored ?
Only testing

Have taken traders comments into mind and changed my strategy.
Thank you for all inputs

Good decision, over simplified things like "if the dog scores first, back the draw with 50% of lay stake and lay the team that just scored ( dog) with 75% of lay stake" totally disregard any concept of looking for value.goldfinch77 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 20, 2023 11:38 amHappy to draw a line under this now.

Indeed. Until recently, I tried to recover losses. Now, however, if the strategy is profitable, then losses are part of the strategyKai wrote: ↑Wed Apr 19, 2023 2:42 pmWhy recover losses if strategy is profitable? Have to really think this concept through.
