I didn't get this one! 1000 to win before the off.

Hi BA

Not unusual for Trainer Switches to win

Used to belong to J S Moore

Having its first run for Jennie Candish today

If any body asks why the improvement in form then the normal reply would be.

" Must be the different oats we give it Guv"

My initial assumption was that this was a tight race, with Maoi Chinn Tire just getting his nose in front at the end and fluking the win. But he won by 9 lengths!

There's a video of the race at this link: http://horses.sportinglife.com/Video/Ra ... _3,00.html

Well done! :)

Does anyone have any long-term statistics about how profitable it is to back horses which have changed trainer since their last race?

Ferru...In response to your question about backing horses running for new trainer. One word... Massey.

From memory its profitable to back blind but low strike rate and high winning odds hence slow build, large bankroll and patience required to pull it off!

Yesterdays winner obviously just gave it a monster boost!

I see!

One of the filter criteria within the Favourite Statistics Query is 'Trainer Compared to Last race.' it is within here you can selet to filter search results by 'different trainer.'

The P&L to BFSP is in big profit over the history of the result database but is about a 7% strike rate, so clearly relies on big old winners!

Have you not seen this criteria then?

Hi there

I record the Results for Massey's Top 3 in every race run LOL

I use Turf Trax for my Trainers Switches.

List are created Daily only £5.00 a month and the best site on the Web (in my opinion ) I have been using them for years too
