Historic Relative Odds question

When using 'Historic Relative Odds', where does Guardian source the odds history from? Does Guardian need to have been running at the relative time referred to? Does the market and/or rules file need to have been loaded and running at this time too? If you close and restart Guardian is any relative odds history lost?
