re triggering stop loss
Hi I often use the retriggering stop loss in running for B2L with good success (files in question attached). My question is if I was to apply both Back and Stop Loss Triggers to an Automation rule. would they conflict with each other or would they identify a back or lay bet?

There was no file attached to either of your posts
When you say a re-triggering stop loss I assume you mean a 'Green all selections' or 'close trade on selection with greening' rule with a profit/loss condition as global setting stop losses can only be triggered once
If so then they are triggered by the loss amount and doesn't matter if you have back or layed, it will place whatever the required bet to exit the trade when it triggers

Hi Dallas,
Many thanks for reply, please see files attached. To be clear do I need to decide before opening markets if I am going to be backing or laying or if I add both stop loss trigger for back bet and lay bets to automation files and then either back or lay or will that confuse the settings.
Thanks again
Graham

Those files use Stored values conditions to test if the LTP is greater or less than the value stored by the price selector ruleFrankArch wrote: ↑Fri Jul 28, 2023 10:25 amHi Dallas,

Both use exactly the same rules, it's just the condition that differs so you'd need to use the correct one for what you want to do
