Hi All,

How are you?

I've just found out about bet angel and love the sound of it. Although, by no means am I technically brilliant on computers.

This is where I'd love some direction.

For the last year I've managed to turn £5 to £1,380. By backing over 0.5 Total Match goals. I choose matches with heavy favourites. E.g. below 1/10.

My back bet is over 0.5 total match goals. I back at odds of 1.01 or 1/100. Simple compound interest!

I typically bet on between 1 and 3 markets a day dependant on time of year and fixtures. Although I do search BF interface several times during the day. Early morning doesn't have so many markets as I assume fixtures are added throughout the day.

So I'd love to know whether this software could:

Continuously monitor football markets over 0.5 at 1.01-1.03 with at least a favourite of odds below 1.20?

When a market is found place a back bet with my accumulative balance?

Many thanks in advance,

Joe

Yes, that is pretty much the purpose of any automation (monitor a market then trigger bets when pre-set condition/criteria are met)

Comes with the obligatory warning, that one day you will hit that crazy loser and blow your bank. Betfair odds are pretty accurate, if you're betting at 1.01 the odds are about 1 in 100 that you will lose. Just like a roulette wheel with 100 slots, eventually your losing slot will come up.

What you're doing is compound staking. The "interest" in your case will be the difference between the odds you're taking and the event probability. As yet that's not determined so you're just compounding risk.

It's just punters who see long and short odds as safe havens, if you plan to do these 000s of times a year then it's very different and the maths will always determine your results.

I agree I've monitored this market for many months perhaps 1000 markets and I'd say it's very stable I've seen 4 losers.

Are you good at designing these automation tools? Many Thanks
