I have a "dob" bot that bets 2.5% of the balance from stored values out of the money and takes sp pre-race. When the race goes off, it lays the horse for 2x 2.5% of the balance at half the odds. Those bits work fine except I noticed that the green amounts can be slightly biased toward it winning, probably due to fractional starting prices and/or different tick increments at the back and lay prices. I added a "close trade on selection with greening" rule, to fire on the condition that there be 2 matched bets on the selection.
But with the rule in place, instead of greening up it places a lay for an amount that appears to be roughly equal to the combined back and lay wagers. What could I be doing wrong?

Sounds like you're getting matched at a slightly better price than 50% sometimes?
I'd agree with what shaun has said
But if you really want the amount to be exact you could store the value of the SP price minus 50% (rounded to the nearest valid price)
Then on your close trade with greening rule have it place at the stored value price from above (no conditions needed

The only parameters given are market price and reverse market price. I've downloaded and installed the latest version and there's still no other options.

I installed the newest one (over top of my existing one) but it still still shows only the two options. I'm hesitant to uninstall and reinstall lest I lose all my settings.

You won't lose any saved settings, layouts, rules files etc uninstalling and reinstalling they are stored in a separate folder
