hello everyone, tonight I placed a bet on betdaq on louisiana down horse racing 23:01 and my selection won the race ( horse number 3 Thunder road)
I dont know why Betdaq settled my bet as lost.... the horse is won the race 100%
I watched the race live, and after I checked again and again my bet and the result of the race

I tried to contact them but they are offline till 9:00 AM

What I have to do now? They will fix it? Anyone had the same experience???

Can't speak for Daq, but this happens all the time on Betfair with the more obscure races like US. They will resettle it once they realise their mistake.

These useless sods paid out on a tied T20 game where all bets should have been voided and have just recognised their error.

I tend to find ranting about ops actually achieves v little.

if you have a little patience and communicate with the helpdesk, you will finally reach someone with at least the
intelligence levels above the pond life at another exchange.

I'm afraid it takes more than a little patience at Betfair. ;)

Our resulting is around 98% automated so generally speaking it will be a feed provider issue. The majority of feed providers are built for sportsbooks and not exchanges which also might contribute to issues.

It generally wont be an operations agent settling wrong.

I had a Betfair Formula 1 'To Finish Top 6' bet incorrectly settled in the 2019 Japanese GP on Sunday 13 October 2019.

In F1, the Betfair market rules state in red "This market will be settled based on the result at the time of the podium presentation", which for TV purposes typically takes place about 15 mins after the chequered flag has been waved.

In my case I had laid Daniel Ricciardo to finish 'Top 6' and at the time of the chequered flag and importantly at the time of the podium presentation Ricciardo was placed in 7th place behind Charles Leclerc who finished in 6th place.

Betfair correctly settled the 'Top 6' market at the time of the podium presentation placing Charles Leclerc in 6th place and Daniel Ricciardo in 7th place making my Ricciardo lay bet a winning bet.

However, 2 hours and 40 minutes AFTER THE PODIUM PRESENTATION, the F1 stewards decided to give Charles Leclerc a couple of time penalties which promoted Daniel Ricciardo into 6th place and demoted Charles Leclerc into 7th place.

Incredibly Betfair decided to re-settle the Top 6 market reversing my already settled wining lay bet into a losing bet!

I have and still have all of the evidence - TV and web screenshots, photos, SKY Sports TV video, F1 stewards time and date stamped documents. Trying to get a simpleton at Betfair to understand that the Top 6 market was correctly settled at the time of the podium presentation and should not have been re-settled and reversed 2 hours and 40 minutes after the podium presentation was an impossible task.

I could of course have taken Betfair to court and I would have won as my evidence was overwhelming, but in the interests of my account long term I decided to bite my lip and take matters no further.

Just to make me laugh (adding insult to injury with plenty of salt), 10 days after the race the F1 stewards determined that both Ricciardo and his Renault teammate Hulkenberg had used illegal fuel and were both disqualified from the race!

Betfair acted like retards in this matter and no matter how many photos, screenshots, stewards time/date stamped documents I sent to them, after they had re-settled the Top 6 market they were not prepared to re-visit that settlement reversal decision even with the benefit of my evidence showing they had been wrong to have re-settled.

Decent reason to give Betdaq a go so?
