Hi all

I think I've created a rules file that will trigger in a football match if the conditions are met. It's not complex but I could do with a thumbs up that it will work as I don't want to risk firing loads of £50 bets into the market.

It triggers at 15 mins up to 25 mins 10 times until the conditions are met, the 3 conditions are:
Market is in play

Fixed odds are >1.49

Number of place bet rules triggered;
On selection
is equal to 0

Have I understood it correctly in that if the bet has triggered once to place the £50 trade, the number of place bet rules triggered will no longer be 0 and so WILL NOT fire any more bets into the market?

Each time a market is refreshed all rules get checked and if the conditions are met it will trigger

So you only need the rule to trigger 1 time (unless you wanted to place multiple bets)
The 'Number of place bet triggers' condition isn't need but it won't harm to leave it in as a extra layer of safety

I've been trading full-time with Bet Angel for 5 years. Even now I would never run a new automation without first checking it works as expected in practise mode.

Definitely do this first. Although practise mode is pretty useless for testing P&L, it is an essential tool to make sure your automation triggers when expected.

And I only leave the min in my wallet for a while when I go live.

Where do you stick the rest?

When using BA I move it between the poker or games wallet and main wallet. Or the other thing people do it place big bet that won't be matched like Man City at 100/1.

Another option would be a sub account if you have one.

When you go live the potential problem you might have is it clashing with an existing strategy because there's no way to ring fence strategies with BA.

It's easier to save money than to earn it. And if its going to make money then an extra day being careful won't make any difference.
