I stumbled across Lee Cal Trading on YouTube tonight and saw a video where he offered a build a custom bot service. It was on hold back during covid but I'm not sure if it's back up and running?

Alas I wonder if he or indeed anyone else can help? I am looking for somebody to make me a tested greyhound bot that scalps and greens up once it's reached a small profit.

It doesn't have to set the world on fire, I'm looking for tiny profits compounding across all the races in the UK and Australia to give me a modest daily profit.

I've spend countless hours trying to create one and I give up. I'm just not built to write automation rules, it really isn't something I'm good at or get any pleasure from.

I don't want to be stuck at my desk 7 days a week 8+ hours a day manually trading, it's not fair on my husband and kids so I really need to get some automation going.

Happy to pay obviously and I'm looking for something bespoke. e.g made for me not something available to the masses please. I really hope there is someone out there who can help me!

There really is no better way to learn the software than getting stuck in and learning as you go through trial and error. Also it's important to understand how an automation works because you'll likely find you need to tinker with existing rules to keep them up-to-date as markets evolve.

If you really can't get your head around it then I have built automations for others in the past, in return for payment for my time. PM me if you're interested.

I totally agree that it's almost always better to learn something yourself and there will always be a need to tweak bots as things change. However there is the odd occasion where a task or desired outcome of something is just an awful fit for your personality and skill set. After probably several hundred hours of trial and error I've driven myself mad.

So I am at the point where I am looking to pay a fair price to somebody who gets pleasure from making bespoke bots for people like me who aren't that way inclined.

I'm not looking for a path of gold and I'm not deluded about what's possible/realistic. I totally understand the nuances of trading. I'm very happy manually trading. But as a Mum and wife it's not fair to be attached to my PC for the long hours I'm currently putting in. I regularly trade 100 markets in single day! I need to get some automation in place so I can free up some time and not decimate my incomedoing so.

How far did you get. Is it the bot logic you are struggling with or the fact that it doesn't make a profit?

If the former there are plenty of people on here that can provide advice if the later then not so much so.

If it is the bot logic, then break down what you are doing into steps and indicate the areas you are struggling with - perhaps you will get some free help )
