Hi guys,

can someone have a quick check what's wrong with my automation?
I want to back the first player (Player 1) before the game starts - this works well.
Then I also want to lay Player 2, if Player 1 loses the first set. So basically I am playing two bets on Player 1,

Very simple, but I am new to Tennis and the first game I ran the automation it did not place a bet for the second part of the strategy. The conditions were met though. Is there any mistake?

Cheers

I havent looked at the file, but while you're waiting for someone else to turn up and maybe answer: if the conditions were met, the issue is often related to the cycle time in guardian. That is, Guardian may not have been looking at this event during the open window

Time frame is definitely chosen correct. Must be something else. I'll try to run it on another game tomorrow and see again.

Live scores are only coming through for WTA at this moment in time so if you had it on an ATP or challenger level match then no scores would be coming through.

Oh, , is it just temporary or has it always been like this?

Very interesting, I was actually trying to run this file on all WTA games and haven't had success either.

I am quite good by now with soccer related automation, but only started with tennis.

Rule 1 you have it applied to row 1 so it will always back the player listed first (as a note match start times can be miles off the betfair scheduled time)
Rule 2 you have it applied to row 2 only & your looking for the player in row 2 to have lay price of <2. If they lost the set it's highly unlikely their price will be <2 (would have to have started at something like 1.25 or less)

Hi,

I think that's exactly what I intended to do. As I get only a couple of matches per week in my pickings, it's easier for me to go by Player 1 or Player 2. The idea is to Place a bet on the player listed first and double down on him if he loses the first set. I have obviously the same strategy if the player I am backing is listed second.

My problem is that whenever he is losing the first set the file does not work. :(
