Australian nsw trading - worth it?

I have a question. Is it worth trading on aussie nsw horse races? I know there is extra fee, and I found this section on Betfair, but I cant understand, how it's calculated exactly, because I have no experience such high amounts betting.
Is it worth to trade for 1-2-3-4-5 ticks per race? What amount Betfair will deduct exactly? The fee of the complete backing stake (for ex. complete back stake of $1.500) or just from gained profit (for ex. $50)?

The fee is on the sum of the back stake ($1500), if you don't pay much commission. If you are trading it is almost always not worth betting there.
