Hi, Can anyone help with a small problem I am having with a calculation with excel connected to betangel.
Example I place a bet on match odds home team at say 1.41 with £100 which means a loss of the £100 if away team wins or a draw. A win = £41 without commission taken.
I have placed several bets on score lines in the correct score,
0-0 odds 12 with a bet of £5 win £47.68
1-1 odds 8.2 with a bet of 7.32 win £47.70
Any other resulting score line would be a loss of £12.32
If the away team score first goal then odds for home team drift out for example 3.1
I can reference one of the cells example C17 with the £12.32 correct score data by inputting in another cell AG2 by inputting =C17 and in that AG2 cell I will have -£12.32
I can program excel to work out the average number between 1.41 and 3.1 which is 2.25 but not sure if this average number would be the right number to use?
Is there any way to have excel auto work out what stake to place at 3.1 on the home team in the match odds to make up the potential win on the home team to the same amount as would be a win of £47.68 on the 0-0 and the 1-1 correct score.
Thanks.
Small problem with excel got my head battered in.

I'm not sure what use the average odds between 1.41 and 3.1 could be, as the price is 3.1Woody411 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 11:12 pmHi, Can anyone help with a small problem I am having with a calculation with excel connected to betangel.

The amount you would need to stake at 3.1 to level up your position would be (47.7 - 41) / 3.1 = £2.16
£2.16 at 3.1 would win £4.34, plus £41 gives £45.34, roughly equal to £47.70 - £2.16
Thanks very much for that it helps a lot.Derek27 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 24, 2024 8:26 pmI'm not sure what use the average odds between 1.41 and 3.1 could be, as the price is 3.1Woody411 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 11:12 pmHi, Can anyone help with a small problem I am having with a calculation with excel connected to betangel.
