Sticky Ladders

Ive had an issue for the last few days where my ladders just freeze for anything up to about 5 seconds. It started out just a few times a day but today it has been happening a lot more.

It also takes a good few seconds sometimes to just switch markets via the watch list where as usually its pretty instant.

Ive run all the relevant scans on the computer and nothing has flagged up.

CPU and Memory are all running well by the looks of it

I dont think it is an internet issue as my betfair live pictures carry on running smoothly but I do suspect its an issue local to me or I would have imagined others would have mentioned it by now.

Anyone got any ideas what it could be as I'm at a loss as to how to sort it?

When the ladders freeze are you still able to open new windows for example a chart window, or Guardian?
Also are you able to use the scroll bars beside each ladder to move them up and down?

I've had this problem too. Happened once today and once yesterday.

I can still open graphs and guardian but pretty sure I couldn't scroll the ladders.

It opened a graph window but it was completely blank, I only had a few seconds but I dont think the ladder would scroll either.

There was also a delay in bets hitting the ladder despite hearing the bleep of the click if that makes sense.

If you can scroll the ladders and the charts, guardian windows etc open ok but there is no activity ie, price updates then that suggests a connection issue. If using Wifi it can be prone to intermittent drop offs, so its always advisable to use a wired connection where possible.
Also if you have another connection you could try ie, a 4g or 5g connection via your mobile to see if that makes any difference

If the ladders don't scroll and you can't open new windows etc then that suggests a CPU issue, something is probably running in the background (even if only briefly) which is then hogging your CPU resources, I saw you'd said you checked this in your OP but maybe keep the window open and minimized so you can flick it up quickly next time it happens - if you can grab a screenshot and post it I can check to see if everything looks as it should

The Internet connection has always been hard wired but Ill try a mobile 5g for a bit and see if thats any different.

I'll keep the resources window open and see if I can get a screenshot.

Thanks for your help Dallas, much appreciated.
