From my initial searches in this forum there does not appear to be an easy way to fix the horse order in excel.
I don't see how you can automate a trading system if the order of the horses change every 20 minutes.
I have a very simple strategy of laying a horse, or perhaps two horses just before the start but so far I cannot work out how to avoid laying a random horse when the excel rows change.
The stake size is dependent on the odds close to bsp so I have that as a formula, I don't think I can work out the stake size without using excel.
Am I missing something or is excel automation not what it is cracked up to be?
Thanks
Fix horse order
Betangel is very customizable - sometimes it can seem like a curse until you work it out.guy333 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2024 7:27 amFrom my initial searches in this forum there does not appear to be an easy way to fix the horse order in excel.

You can use excel the way you want but you need to stabilize the order horses are presented. I think the excel feed is driven from the one-click screen (?) You can sort that screen by clicking on the headers of the columns. If you sort by favourite it will be unstable. If you sort by horse name/number it wont fluctuate.
Separately, you can very probably do you stake calcs without excel.
