I would go in Feb. March is decent enough imo, also has Cheltenham. Snow would surely be better in Feb as well?
exactly my thoughts. For some reason I had cheltenham in my head as being in APril. Any idea roughly when in March Cheltenham is? Start/End of the month?
In that case March is definately out. Even though I am not a massive profiteer of cheltenham I still like to give it my best shot.

Hi
Would agree with that..
Just checked my records...March is my 3rd best month whereas February is my 10th best (Calendar Year this far)..
(just dont do what I did..six weeks before I was due to go skiing..I torn my miniscus muscle (whilst dancing on a boozy night out!)...had to have an op..
My son texted me each day from zermatt telling me how much fun he was having with my mates!!

Yes that is a lazy question JR
and one I would expect of a boarder. Bloody doped up lay abouts blocking the pistes for proper skiers.
March was Month no 3 for me this year.
I'm off to Flaine on the 17th of December for 10 days. Snow looks good at the moment and looking forward to treating the family after a hard year's trading. In the new year I will be doing as much cross country skiing as possible. (No lift rage, queues or boarders on the X-counrty pistes)

ha ha this is a typical reponse of a typical skier who probably stands all over my shiny board in the lift que leaving horrible scratches all over it
Looks like my friends are settling on late march. I think I am going to leave them to it and look to go in february with anyone who I can convince to go with me! Any pro traders up for it for some relaxing time out? We can talk swing trading technique on the piste!

Just had 4 days in Chamonix JR. -30C wind chill so no exposed skin for a sun tan. One highlight though was a snow boarder flying past me seconds before catching an edge and hitting the hard packed snow in an explosion of designer goggles, gloves and hats.
As I arrived on the scene to help all I could hear was a gentle sobing. I almost felt sorry for her.
First time in Chamonix and would certainly return. Great skiing and no snow ploughers.
That's 14 days skiing this season so far.
I'll keep you updated.
