Hello, folks.

Hunted across the forum but couldn't find an answer to what I suspect is a simple set up:

Looking to lay the favourite in qualifying races, this is easy to set this up, I know. But there might be a certain horse that I want to exclude from being laid should that horse qualify as favourite when the rules are set to trigger. So, the question is how do I lay the favourite, whichever horse that might be, providing that favourite is not horse X?

Grateful, L.

Type the name of the horse x (with extreme accuracy) into the Text Comparison parameter and add a condition that your lay does not exactly match horse x

Add the names of the horses you don't want to back (or the rule to trigger on) each day to a 'Text Comparison' condition

and select the option
'Does not contain any of the following'

I'm pretty sure we need the 'does not exactly match' condition or it'll reject any horse with the letters 'Lad' in it where he just wants to exclude 'Dallas Lad'. I had terrible trouble with that before the exact match parameter was introduced.

Yep your right, it would need that one :)

Didn't realise your reply had been posted just seconds before mine
