Hello everyone,
I am a bit confused, I am dutching £100 on over/under 2.5 market and I selected 20% margin, ticked Margin Maker on over 2.5 and was expecting £20 profit, but the predicted profit is 24.73 instead(screenshot attached).Could you please explain why is this figure bigger than my selected margin of 20%?

Because of the margin they're asking for above the current price on the overs. Eg current is 1.53 and asking for 2.24thepressure wrote: ↑Wed May 28, 2025 10:26 pmWhat exactly are you doing here, how can you dutch this market and make £24 quid>?

No it's not scalping, it's market making, aka offering prices.thepressure wrote: ↑Thu May 29, 2025 8:51 ambut that price isnt avaiable. when ive messed around with it, is it just scalping some ticks basically?

OP is probably hoping for no early goals so the over 2.5 price drifts and gets matched leaving him with a green book.thepressure wrote: ↑Thu May 29, 2025 4:02 pmso in the example i played around with, its offering prices no one will ever take? whats the point, im guessing i dont understand this at all?

Doesn't help that you're asking for a 10% margin and it's all on one selection. 1% split between the two and you might get some fills.thepressure wrote: ↑Thu May 29, 2025 4:02 pmso in the example i played around with, its offering prices no one will ever take? whats the point, im guessing i dont understand this at all?
