Offset and stop loss using a percentage

Can someone explain how using the percent option on the offset and stop loss work exactly?

The manual doesn't explain it clearly and I can't find any other information.

Is the percent based on my stake?

E.g for a £10 stake for a £10 profit (before Comms) I want the offset to be 100%

For a £5 profit it should be 50%

Likewise my stop loss to trigger at 25% (when loss is currently £2.50) and place at 50% (£5 loss)

If that's not how it works how would I be able to set this up?
