Things like match context and defensive strength are useful, but wondering what other information people consult to pick out potentially low scoring first halves

Watching the game is the biggest piece of information that trumps everything IMO If your stat driven maybe break it down by league 1st instead of applying the same logic to all games across all leagues. Spanish Segunda or Argentine Primera they couldn't hit a barn door with a banjo most of the time for example.arbitrage16 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2025 3:51 pmThings like match context and defensive strength are useful, but wondering what other information people consult to pick out potentially low scoring first halves

... that others haven't spotted.
It's tough finding situations that aren't already priced in or show decay inefficiencies. I'd like Kai's take on this, but I'd guess by watching the game and seeing if teams are behaving unexpectedly. Or anyway the game is not the one all the stats suggested it would be.
Basically any match that Darwin starts in
But on a more srs note since the market is skewed more towards 2nd half goals anyway it makes a bit more sense to me to look for a goal or two 1st half and no goals 2nd half
For shorter periods at least, once the value gets squeezed out I don't see a reason anymore to keep the bets open + keeps you flexible
