Hi all,

I'm reading and hearing a few different things now and just want to get it from the horses mouth so to speak.

How many bots does each account have? I'm under the impression is can have 5? as there are 1,2,3,4,5 rules to apply. However guardian only shows me rule 1 and on the table doesn't show any other rules.

I'm currently having to log into my account 4 x to then run 4 different guardian tabs running separate bots.

Does everyone else do this or do you apply rule 1 bot, then rule 2 bot then rule 3 bot etc?

What do you guys do to run multiple bots?

Do this to add more rule columns.

Or for the more advanced user you can combine your rules into one rulesfile.

Can I ask for advice on this too? Can you have more than one automation bot running on the same market. For example, can I have a scalping bot and a swing trade bot pre-off on the same race? If so, do I apply these by adding them to Rule 1, rule 2, rule 3 etc? Sorry for the basic question, there is a lot to understand

You can but depending on your rules of each, you might find the greening or redding positions for the scalping actually close the swing trades and vice versa.
Unless you're completely certain that they won't interact with each other then you might be better off running each in separate instances of BA to be sure there's no crossover or confliction.

That won't work because each separate instance will still react based on the overall market position of the account holder.

Oh I get you yeah. How about a workaround of storing a value if swing placed = 1 or scalp placed = 1 and only allowing greening/redding for each if the required condition is met?
