Good evening,

I'm currently trying out different features of BA. I'm currently laying inplay to a 1% liability ( all in practice mode) I'm just wondering what most of the inplay traders would recommend setting your max odds to lay at.? I have noticed that when I lay higher odds they always seem to shorten so if I was playing for real I could see myself having difficulty trading out for a small profit or loss.!

Thank you TG

I'd say the answer lies in your own confidence and your stomach for variance/risk.

If 5x stake feels enough risk for you then cap it at 6.0, but when you're an old hand then you'll lay at any price if that's the right move. There isn't much that's prescriptive in trading, it's what feels right for you. It's too much risk or too much stake that makes people panic or do daft things so start with low prices and stakes and work up.

I tend to set a max of 120 as that works for me & makes sense with the liabilities I works with.

There can be value at any price and the cap of 1000 means 10,000 shots become good value lays in theory although I suspect the fast feeders are all over that )

Depends on the size of your bank and the type of 'staking' you use.

Be careful though, as two yellow cards could lead to you being 'sent off' 🟥
