Hi all,

Just want to absolutely make sure I'm fully optimised for speed and to also bug find anything with bots not firing etc etc.

I've got good internet 14ms + 103Mb/s + 255Mb/s

I've got refresh interval to 20m/s (Spanner Icon) and the refresh interval to 20m/s (Screen Icon).

I have betfair streaming set up in the settings also.

I have strict refresh also set so it only trades one race at a time or 2 when they overlap etc.

Is there anything else which I need to add at all?

And also are there things that can slow me down? i.e having the ladders opened up? My laptop has the capabilities for the software requirements so that's fine too

Thankies

That should be fine. Other things that can slow you down are lots of writing to log. A reboot every now and then helps too.

(Speed is over-rated for most people though.)

Yeh I was thinking about script lengths as another consideration. As long as I have the controlled features already optimised I'm happy, working on reducing script will be a next advancement.

Good tip with the restart. Its not something I do really, only when the PC has updates!

I just tend to see the bots firing a second slower than I anticipate really, but equally this can present counter intuitive profits strangely enough.. which is a bit of a melon twister until you understand the whys

Some people legit have a need for high speeds. If that is you, then it makes sense to optimise for that.

Even for those people/strategies, ping round-trips often dwarf everything else anyway.
