Hi all,

Is there any way we can get the tick offset function in Betangel to last longer than the maximum fill or kill seconds delay which currently is 99999 seconds, that translates to 27.78 hours.

Sometimes I like to get in multiple days before the start of an event with a tick offset in place, but I can't use the tick offset for longer than the 27.78 hours as the bet gets killed after that amount of time if not matched. This means I lose my prominent position in the queue and my chances of getting matched after this is nearly impossible in these lower odd brackets...

Does anyone have a solution, or perhaps could the developers add a sixth column to the fill or kill seconds delay section for the next update so that we can set them for 999999 seconds, which is 277.78 hours.

Thanks for your help, everybody.

Justin

Hi Justin,
maybe you could place back/lay in the market at the same time, with a condition on the offset part to only trigger when matched bets>0 and, just in case the first bet is only partially matched, use a further condition, unmatched bet amount=0.

I think that will do what you want, but I have a feeling you are going to say "but i want to place more than one fill/kill" hmmm

good luck :D

Hi eatyourgreens,

Yes, you are right. I need to have multiple tick offsets functioning at the same time, which means I can't use the automation as it only allows for one at a time...

It would have to be a change to the ordinary tick offset function within guardian...

hi
I am no expert at this, and usually make myself look silly with my suggestions!
if you wanted to place a £3 lay bet, with different offsets, place 3no. £1 lay bets (£1 offset x ticks £1 offset x ticks £1 offset x ticks).

To over come the fill/kill time restraints you mention (99999 seconds?) how about not using fill/kill but place a £3 lay bet at say 1.5 place a £1 back bet at 1.6 ( with the condition "total amount of lay bets matched is > 0.99" place a £1 back bet at 1.7 ( with the condition "total amount of lay bets matched is > 1.99" place a £1 back bet at 1.8 ( with condition "total amount of lay bets matched is > 2.99"

obviously odds and stakes could be anything, you could even adjust stakes to give offset with greening (eatyourgreens!)

just my thoughts
good luck :D
