Hi Everyone and hello again as I have not posted here for a long while.
So I have attached a picture of the bets I placed. They are LAY bets and they hit the market 2 minutes prior to start time. They cancel and resubmit at 1:30, 1:00 and 30 secs, and have a stored value attached.
The problem I have is after I set it up ( around 9am) if there is a scratching later, the automation will not fire.
As you can see from Sandown race 6, Belmont race 6 and Belmont race 7 there was no bets placed. The scratched horse changes to a number and the automation bypasses the whole race.
How do I work around this please, any help would be apricated.
Non runners causing automation not to fire

Need more detail about what your rule is doing. Is the stored value of one linked to the other? Does the failure of horse 1 to trigger cause failure for the others? I notice in all three instances it was your first selection that was the non-runner.

Hi Jamesdwards,
The stored value should not be the problem. In short this is the rule:
Bet of ( say 50) is placed 2 mins from the start for all horses.
at the 1min 30 mark any unmatched bets are cancelled.
Stored value is calculated
if a partial bet is accepted ( say 20 accepted) then stored value is 30. if all bet is accepted stored value is 0, if none of the bet is accepted the stored value is 50.
at 1 min 28 the bets are fired in at the best back price as per the stored value
the same at1 min and at 30 seconds.
If the first selection can not fire, it appears the rule just stops and will not move onto the other selections.

Post your rulefile and perhaps someone can spot the issue.Shamrocker wrote: ↑Wed May 21, 2025 9:46 pmHi Jamesdwards,

I have some base rules that go into some strats for reasons that I often cant remember (Dallas had it in some of his early templates)
One of them is to count the number of runners when I look at the market, and then dont have a bet if that number changes. (It's a good rule in lots of situations!)
Maybe you have some legacy rules like that?
