Firstly I am only doing this small amounts of money.

I will.put 40p on a football match to finish with 2 or 3 goals. I will follow the match live and over or end using the potential profit.

I will turn 40p into 50p. I will then repeat it using the extra 10p to protect my original stake of 40p so it gets easier and easier to not lose the original 40p.

But I am struggling to scale it up. Has anyone tried this before?

The higher your stake the greater any value erodes.

But this sounds very much like martingale which won't work in the long run. Eventually you will hit a loser.

I am monitoring the match live so as long you get off to get a good start it is easy to protect the 40p original stake.

For example, I did a Scandinavian match during the week. It was 2-0 at half time but I could protect the original stake.

The only way it seems to go wrong is if the first match is 0-0 at half time but finishes with 4 goals. But that is in the first match where you start with the original stake

Massive red flag there Gareth, think you need to go back to the drawing board or reanalyse your strategy.
