I
use to get up at 4:30am GMT for a little play on the Aussie markets, I noticed the Liquidity in them have vastly reduced and also the Volume is non existent making it impossible to really do ok out of them. Thank goodness for our UK markets even a cheap day at Newton Abbot is more liquid than these, they use to be ok. US at night is the same ore no volume mighty gaps, suppose i can carry on sleeping till our UK normal service begins

Over The Years Sticky Liquidity
Looks like Betfair’s copped a bit of heat over the fringe markets. Seems like they’re shifting their gaze
Stateside these days — reckon the UK scene’s just gotten a bit too pricey and hard yakka to deal with.

That sounds like a standard rationalisation. If you consider how many brands Flutter owns, there is a lot of duplication for a product that is basically the same underlying each brand.aussie wrote: ↑Wed Jun 18, 2025 12:41 pmLooks like Betfair’s copped a bit of heat over the fringe markets. Outside of the Metro racecourse the country courses have always been small, but they are really small now. So I tend to focus on the big meetings.
I wouldn't expect much to be going on in the winter anyhow.
