Hi, I have been looking at pre race trading on the horse racing markets. I have watched a few YouTube videos on this and there was one guy using Bet Angel and I watched as he placed a lay bet for £100, and when it was taken it automatically placed 10 back bets at £10 each on the other side at 1 tick intervals.
A bit later in the video, he did a back bet for £50 and as soon as it was taken, 10 £5 bets appeared on the lay side at 1 tick intervals where I suppose he wanted to close the trade.
I have looked at the global settings and indeed at the ladder settings and I can't see how he is doing this automatically. Is there a basic function or has he used a rule or a servant?
Hope the above makes sense.
Closing position in batches
If the bets were all getting placed only once the whole opening bet is matched then he's using a Servant/Automation
If the bets were being placed as the opening bet was being matched then he'll have just been using batches which are located on the main ribbon next to the offset settings, and the parameters tab if using automation or a servant
