Have you noticed the very low volume on most of these markets? Pretty miserable stuff at the moment.

Very weak, especially at Southwell and Exeter with the Irish races taking the coverage

hehe, well rule number 1 of 'trade club' is never trade, tired, hung over or unwell, so no big surprise today :).

Can't believe how little and poor racing we have and have coming up given that we have just been through a period of virtually no racing for weeks. Surely they could have done something better.

Most of these horses should be a in dogs belly tbh.

The extended build up ATR are giving the races is hardly encouraging people to bet either - last race was given a full 3 second build up just announcing who the favourite was!

Decided to take couple of weeks off over Christmas and getaway... Came back yesterday, refreshed, ready and really looking forward to get the NY off to a good start only to find the last couple of days throughly uninspiring, having to watch myself so I don't end up trying to create opportunities... very difficult when I've been itching to get stuck in...

P.S. Happy NY to you all....

Liquidity is dire today, I've never seen it this poor on a Thursday before.

Liquidity is pretty awful today. I was doing better when we had the snow!

Looks like the share traders are keeping an eye on this thread  - Betfair's shares fell a further 3.25% today to a new low of 907p at close from 937.5p at open this morning, the falls happened from 2pm when racing was underway and people started posting here - coincidence I ask :?: ;)
