I am skeptical about whether this works. However, if it does, it seems unlikely they would sell it; there is likely more value in keeping it in-house.....

I've developed a prototype that's very similar using YOLO technology.
The problem we have is the switching of camera angles. It makes it very hard to pick up accurately where a horse is, and putting that to one side, you've got TPD anyway, so you don't need it.
TPD solves the problem. My pursuit of this technology was just out of interest and it's nowhere near as accurate as TPD.
