If I hear that 'underdog' ad again, I'm going to throw something at the TV!

At The Races seem to show about 10 ads in total, and they're all naff IMHO!

Just thought I'd get that off my chest! :)

Another ad that I don't like is the one for Autoglass.

If I had a small chip in my windscreen, I wouldn't go to the hassle and expense of calling out Autoglass.

Yes, there's a chance it will eventually get worse and force me to buy a new window. But given the cost of a new window and the likelihood of that happening, I'd take my chances!

And I bet if I Googled 'chipped windscreen', I could find a product I could buy for a fiver at B & Q that would sort out the problem!

I'd sooner get a windscreen company to do the job properly for free.

The Wonga ad is the most annoying I find or Giacamo Clothes.

The most annoying one for me is the injury lawyers one.

"i was sent out on a job but goofy gave me a winnie the pooh ladder!, mickey mouse was meant to hold the ladder but when minnie mouse walked past he lost concentration, i fell from the ladder and twisted my ankle which caused brain damage, i was out of cartoons for 12 weeks but luckily for me injury lawyers for you took my case to willie wonkas chocolate factory and i recieved 5000 disney dollors compensation, a new procedure is now in place to ensure that only tigger ladders are used."

ffs.

I had a decent car, I probably would too in fairness! :)

But I bet my local garage could do it for less than a national chain.

As regards the Jacamo clothes, I think they've picked the wrong comedian! Peter Kay would have been hilarious in that ad!

I actually used to work for Safestyle.

Whether you really get 2 for the price of 1 depends on your perspective... :)

Isn't it great where we live in a time when you get go out, get drunk, trip on a raised paving slab, and then sue your cash-strapped council?

Makes you proud to be British!

Just saw an ad for a company called Quik Quid, which offer loans at a very reasonable rate of 2278% APR...

Jeff

PS Just discovered that this gem was actually being shown on Dave, not ATR.

With such high caliber companies advertising on ATR, it's a wonder that racing is in financial difficulties!

PS You don't suppose Borro are targeting problem gamblers by advertising their high-interest loans on ATR?

You could argue that it's a bit like a pub handing out 'happy hour' fliers to people entering an AA meeting...
