I’m finding the price often comes in after I’ve been matched. I laid one at 5.2 this morning and could’ve laid it at 4.4 just before the off. Easy to say afterwards of course, but I’m wondering if there’s a better way of timing it than just moving the rule closer to the off and hoping for the best.
For those who trade the dogs, what would make you hold off on a lay for another 10 or 15 seconds? Do you look at the money actually getting matched at the shorter prices, or keep an eye on what the favourite’s doing? I’d be interested to hear if anyone uses a condition in Guardian for this and what they found when they tested it.
I let the lays run to the result, no greening up before the off. Just trying to get a bit better at the entry.
Thanks in advance
