And racing wonders why the levy and interest from the betting world is falling fast.

I don't get why they keep paying these courses that abandon a large amount of money - surely it would be better to redirect the money into more frost covers, gritting machines, stock piles of salt etc etc.

One thing that has really annoyed me with this cold weather is the lack of effort from RUK.

I contacted them a week last Wednesday after Lydia made a comment about someone complaining about the lack of coverage. I was contacted by one of the producers who tried to assure me I had misunderstood Lydia but I don't beleieve I had. She imo thinks she is better than everyone else.

The general line of my overal arguement was that we are still paying £20 a month and getting next to no coverage due to so much racing being off because of the weather. Obviously they can't do anything about the weather.

However, they will still be paying all these presenters but for what - what extra programs have we had, what features etc etc - all we get is endless replays so I asked where the money was going which was avoided in the reply. Either the presenters are being paid to do nothing or they aren't paying them and keeping the extra profit as we aren't getting any discounts.

I never thought I would say it but I have realised over this cold weather how good ATR is. Never do you get a blank day - even Christmas eve they put shows on! You get wall to wall racing and the presenters don't tend to think they are above everyone else.

SO no longer do I think RUK is a class apart, well I do, but a class or two below ATR. Now where's the number for Auto Glass? ;)

Andy
Agree 100%, I was impressed with ATR coverage especially after the bad weather in Dec yes we have to suffer the ads but that's what the mute button is for.
Just the all weather this afternoon on ATR and another blank day for £20 a month RUK,they should change their name to non-racing UK much more appropriate
