Accessing Betfair from Italy HELP PLEASE

I understand that changing the DNS can allow access to a BF account from Italy. Is there anyone who can help me with this please? I have only a vague notion as to what DNS is and don't want to change it only to find it doesn't work, and cocks up my comp as well! Maybe a proxy server or VPN can do it, but the last time i tried that from another country i could get into the BF site but not my account.

I would ask betfair direct as they do sell a server and server version of betangel.
I did offer a server service some years ago for clients that could not get access to betfair and it worked well.....and peter and I did some trials some time ago, now Peter has set up his own server service dedicated to betangel software so it will work properly.

Have you checked with betfair what there access policy is?mostly they will only allow access if the account is registered to a UK address and then if you rubn a server you should have no problems....
But talk to betangel support, you will have to email them and ask to call you, they may give you a call.

It doesn't require any major computer setting changes, so it should be fairly easy just to make a note of the change that you make so that you can reverse it if necessary.
