Change of currency

I am thinking of changing my account from GBP to EUR with betfair. Has anyone else had experience of this? Some questions for how BA will handle it

Presumably BA will process the trade as usual without caring what currency it is in, but my trade will show up in the ladder/ book as the GBP equivalent as it would have to be converted by betfair?

Would this potentially mess anything up with greening or other bet management where a 2 EUR stake would actually be something like £1.72 GBP and therefore may not show up on the book. Presumably BA could still manage it ok as it would use the bet reference number?

Any thoughts or knowledge of how this works appreciated, thanks!

I think you can't change account currency. You have to open new account with new currency specified.

thanks i'm waiting for betfair to get back to me on that one, but that's not an issue to open a second account - will let you know

I'd still be keen to find out how BA handles it though

You just select a different currency when you log in, that is all.

Betfair have confirmed (as expected) you have to setup a new account with a new payment method.
