I agree! Sadly I was on the wrong side of both moves! That one turned a good day bad... Oh well.

;)

If it's any comfort on the same day last year I only ended up £5 on the day. Been more cautious today and have done a bit better!

Luckily I have been around long enough to know these days rear their ugly head every now and again and I am happy to take them on the chin!

Its just been carlisle for me for some reason. The markets have been awful! I think I have had around a net 300 pounds loss at that meeting! I haven't quite been able to pull them all back with whats been left everywhere else. There have been some horrendous volume spikes. Should have listened to my gut instinct early doors and gone on into very cautious mode! Didn;t help I spent half the day faffing reading a friends kilamanjaro trip blog whilst trading.

Think I must have been trading the horse that drifted from 2's to 3's (luckily on the rightside - what's more amusing is that I don't recall the name, BlueHorseShoe I guess if that's what the thread says...) typically it's the one race of the day that my recording software didn't start for so unable to look back at it....

Hope those of you who were caught out have a better evening....!

Managed to turn the day positive again in the last few races. Gonna call it a day and right it off as a learning experience!

Melsey -

I think 'BlueHorseShoe' was a reference to what's referred to in another thread as 'dark liquidity'!
