Hi,
I have a dual monitor setup . Just a quick question as to what screens people use to trade. At the moment I have the charting on one monitor and the ladder on the other and trade off the ladder.
What screens do people recommend ? Also, what do people look for on the other horses ( not the favourite ) on the charting. Do people look for constant steamers ? I've noticed that a 2nd favourite coming in will not always cause a drift on the favourite . What are other thoughts ?

I use 4 screens
Top left - Ladder
Top Right - Charting
Bottom Left - One CLick and unmatched bets and main Bet Angel screen
Bottom Right - BF style price charts and advanced charts for the three horses in the ladder
I plan to upgrade at some point next year as my current monitors have to much of a 'frame' around them.
I saw a widescreen setup a few months back and really liked that so will be buying widescreens next.
I don't use any stands as I made my own desk to fit the screens and have the bottom two screens sunken into the desk like newsreaders do. Therefore my top screens are at eye sight level and the bottom screens are just a quick glance down so no need to move my head side to side etc which I used to and eventually found it giving me a pian in the neck.

I trade off two monitors, charting and what ever screen I am trading from. I also have a TV for pictures.
I have 2 screens but only trade with one. I have the ladder, the market overview chart and the clock on a 24" widescreen.
The market overview is good once you get it set up and shows as much as the charting, and you see the top 2,3, 4 horses on the same chart so can see how they are moving compared to each other at the same scale, see when fav/2nd swap over etc...
I have it set for fav red 2nd green 3rd blue everything else orange so red/green/blue always corresponds to column 1/2/3 in the ladder.

Nice set up, I may fiddle around with something like that. I tend to used the advanced charting and put the ladder up next to it. The price then "follows" the charting making it easier to trade.

Cheers for the link - they do seem quite expensive though.
I am looking for one of these multiple stands at the moment and was wondering if anyone could recommend a stand that holds either 2 or 3 screens in a row.
Was thinking of getting one of these which is much cheaper and spend the extra on some nicer screens:

TIA.

At present I am undecided if I want the three of dual setup, but I just spoke to the company that makes them and they sell all the bits separatly.
As a bonus I found out they are made and sold direct from the supllier which is just 20 mins away from me
Hopefully will go tomorrow morning before trading and see them before I buy.

Yes - just google the name of the product: Allcam MDM06, the dual monitor is cheaper on the companies own website and I think they are all slightly cheaper but best you check. I will give a full review tomorrow, assuming I buy one so you may want to wait before spending your money and let me be a guinea pig
If I don't make it tomorrow it will be Monday as they are shut over the weekend.
If you are ringing them be warned they are not exactly easy to understand - not a clue where they come from but they are based in Nottingham and seemed to know what they were on about as I described my slightly odd setup and they suggested what I needed.
Hopefully it will do the job - I am going for the triple setup and the difference in price between theirs and the Ergoton one is enough for 2 extra monitors
Edit - should hopefully have my mount arrive on Monday so will let you know how I get on with it then.

Guys thanks for the info, this model looks great and is really cheap compared to many competitors. Leon could I ask how you are finding them having used them for a couple of months. Have you experienced any issues or have any comments to add. Unfortunately I can't see the vids but it looks like you need to drill the baase to the desk, is that right or did you secure them another way? I have a desk I would rather not drill a hole into if possible.
