The saturday before cheltenham and look slike the exchange has gone down.

I couldn;t get on the website for a few minutes before the last at chepstow but there was plenty of activity through the api. Looks like they killed it though as soon as it went inplay and took the whole exchange down

It's a nightmare to have such an unrealiable service just before Cheltenham. You can't help but think if they can't hold up the site on a normal or quiet day, they have no chance at Cheltenham.

This many times, the only cause can be complete incompetence.

the website went down before the api did.

Looks like all this "upgrading their technology" rubbish has just been a cost cutting exercise that is coming back to bite them in the backside and just making the whole platform unstable.

The sad news is despite this happening almost on a weekly basis we will still be back next week bending over with our pants down on betfair and complaining about the same thing.

I've got another £1000 stuck on a football market!

I can't even start to put into words how disillusioned I am at Betfair at present

I can't believe they inflict a premium charge on me in return for such a totally shit service

It's lead to me actually falling out of love with trading

LeTiss,

Am I assuming most of your trading is on the football? Is it not possible at all for you to transfer a lot of your trading to betdaq?? I thought the football markets on there were pretty good??

I've got no choice, but to start moving my money to Betdaq.

I won't be paying a PC, but the smaller liquidities will lead to less profits, but hopefully they should level out.

I'm disappointed that Betdaq seem less interested in allowing BA to improve the product offering though.

I've managed to get my back bet on with Bet365 - a red trade of £161. I'm thoroughly pissed off, but at least it's not a loss of £1000

:( It is really a shame that there is no real competition to Betfair because that is why they get away with this shoddy service as they know there is, realistically speaking, no real alternative for us to take advantage of. Seems stranget that this happened so quicky after they moved over to Gibraltar, as the platform been handed over to "new management" too because if so then it is not a good start.

What makes this worse is that there so-called service page, http://service.betfair.info/ does not even load up either - at least it does not for me. Can anyone else view that page?

It is such a shame because it should be available 24/7 with no excuse acceptable given the nature of the platform and peoples real money at stake!!

Betfair need some strong competitors ASAP (come on BetDaq, get your sorry acts together and at least try and compete!) so we don't have to just rely on one platform and be in the s**t when it goes down. I enjoy using betfair but there is simply no excuse for it going down even for 1 second - we have the technology available to ensure this should never happen so this can only be put down to poor human management, full stop. I feel more let down than annoyed...

Hmmm, I can now access the page at http://service.betfair.info/ - must have been some little hiccup at my end - however its not much help as it only states what we already know  its like there having a laugh and don't really care about their customers but I suppose it is better than nothing... Hope it is all back up ready for the Man U v Arsenal match later...
