Some people say it's luck but I prefer to say a la the great golfer Gary Player "the more I practice the luckier I get" :D

Did you see the F1 at Monaco? I was lucky enough to lay Vettel at 1.01 when everyone assumed the race was over. They had not taken the new rules into account so I gambled there would be a restart. The risk was minimal so I placed my orders. As soon as the rest of the Betfair clientèle realised what was happening the market sprang back into life and I was able to back him at 1.24 :D

I then did a similar thing with Lee Westwood in the golf. He went down to ~1.10 despite having to play the 3 hardest holes on the course. I just had to lay him because any loss was minimal and any mistake would see his price shoot out. He got lucky on 15 with a free drop and hit a miracle shot. He then hit a duff tee shot on 16 but got lucky. He then made two bad putts on 16 and his price shot out! He has now hit a poor shot on 17 and he's out to 2.06 :D

My wife couldn't understand what was going on but I'm sure she'll help me spend the profit!!

Hi JollyGreen

Well done with those lays.

Since you follow golf is there any chance you know what this tip means, it was sent to me by SMS from Racing Post Sports Extra (on a free trial). I normally only bet on horses and had no idea what the bet was so did not back it.

That is a match bet in the US golf. You are betting that he scores lower than the other players in his group
